We've been here for about 5 months. 1512 Match Point. Still seems like a dream at times. A new landing spot.
We've fallen for this place.
Hard.
Fallen for this time and space together.
It's simple. It's slow. It's predictable.
There's Time for creativity. Time to connect with family. Time to take care of ourselves. Time to study and learn about new things. Time to explore new food, new friends, and new beaches. Even Time to spot the occasional snake ;)
It's become my favorite place I've ever lived. My favorite way I've ever lived. My favorite time in life..... thus far.
The house, shopping for a swim suit for baby Winnie, making dinner, the remnants of a slow cup of tea, and a yummy concoction on Damon's work desk. .
Afternoon naps, mornings when Damon says... "I just want to capture your picture, just like you are." :) Figuring out reading again..... And moonlight so bright it illuminates our bedroom.
Private concerts and memories of songs that take me way back....... "King of the Road."
Excursion to "la Crema" The ceviche and the pastry in the empanada were my favorites.
This guy.... dates me weekly..... like nobody's business. I love him deeply.
Nothing like our favorite apple filled bear claw and mango juice.
Shaka is our favorite place! 10 min from the house and the freshest creative fish.
A Trip Down Memory Lane for me..... and showing Damon a glimpse into past lives.
Trying out Rosemary Public Beach.
Post beach dinner at Louis Louis. Another great live band and amazing dinner! And Extraordinary company!
Damon's talent for Photography is first rate! He's so talented! We purchase a printer and he shares his art with those we love. Creativity is one of the Best treats in life!
Hasselblad long shutter fun at our favorite beach spot.
Fun failed attempt at private "reggae"concert and community food truck :). Let's just say the music was weird and we never got our food :). But the sky was amazing!
Back Beach BBQ....just a few minutes from the house and never disappoints!
Oh Shaka......again...... may you stay in business as long as we are here! :)
Our "second" vehicle that Damon bought for me because I mentioned it might be fun and convenient when we have grandkids come. He LOVES it and takes it out almost every day :)
Proof of just how often Damon wears his Leica. He catches me taking out the trash, and reading on the beach. Leica is pretty much our constant tag along :).
Afternoon Beach time and a little Waffle House on the way home.
Working on making our screened in decks fully functional:)
Pho 66.... Just down the road and right on the beach. This little gem is delicious!
The view out the windows, the shadows, the light. We love it all!
Another long shutter late night at Carousel Beach. Beautiful!
45 second exposure on the second photo. I just happened to be in it twice. The Hasselblad is beyond cool!
My sewing loft is complete as the last piece of furniture arrived! I've already made 4 quilts in this room ;)
Cruella at Pier Park. We loved the movie! A little shared chili dog and some people watching.
Orchid Lounge. The best pulled pork, coconut shrimp, and live county music!
We share a love for Bitcoin, and make a little purchase on our bike ride :)
Ummm ya.... that's Shaka again..... and a blueberry filled fritter :)
Father's Day. Fine Dining at Bijoux. I love DJ's reflection shot!
Crab lumps, blackened Brie, Tuna, Scallops, and Strawberry Shortcake. Delicious! Happy Father's Day Damon. You are an amazing dad!
Cool shot that Damon took of our Rover with the American Flag in the background. The events of this past year has spurred thousands of discussions regarding what it means to us to be an American. We are both concerned for our country.
The drive into our home is so amazingly beautiful. It takes my breath away every day.
We have Another Bitcoin Baby:) I'm so thankful for this time in my life. For freedoms, health, knowledge, our families, short grey hair, and the amazing Damon Janis.
