Rio de Janeiro #2
Our third and last day in Rio.
I thought Rio was done but we have some pictures from our third day. This was a lighter day doing some recovery from the prior two more intense days.
We walked about 1 kilometer to the Museo de Amanha (Museum of Tomorrow). But not for the museum. For the restaurant!
I got 2 crab coxinha's, Mitzi got a crab farinha bowl and a burrata salad.
We walked around the port area for a while and did some shopping and saw some interesting old buildings with charater.
There are a lot of homeless people near the port. Just like in the 1980's. Seeing the brought back sadness that I felt then.
Mitzi spotted this tree with spikes on the trunk. Good for keeping birds off, smart!
We've enjoyed our three days in Rio and are grateful we got to come here.
