Paracas, Peru

The port was bustling and very interesting. We learned we de-icing salt comes from by doing some self-study.

Paracas, Peru

We just felt sad here. Can't exactly put our finger on it.

I think the people really struggle here. It's a hard life, oppressive heat. I think we felt sad for the suffering of so many humans in the world.

The port was super interesting. Very busy with all kinds of activity. It was fun to be in the middle of it.

The mounds are sea salt. It's shipped from here all over the world. It's used in the United States for de-icing roads.

Oceania provided a shuttle from the port over to Paracas, about a 20 minute drive around the bay.

Nothing grows here naturally. The land is completely barren.

We walked along the beach. A short walk but nice.

We didn't feel inspired to take a lot of pictures. Sometimes I guess that's just how it is.
