Four Days of Christmas 2021
Celebrating Christmas as Empty Nester Floridians!
This is our first year with no kids and no traveling for Christmas. We strung it out over 4 days:) It was a great time!
December 23: Dinner at Shaka. We hadn't been here in weeks and just wanted to fit it into the Festive Fun!
December 24th: Damon made his delicious bread and Publix had pastrami! We had a divine lunch:)
And then we enjoyed a delicious Christmas Eve dinner at Olive Garden thanks to the Scotts!
When we came home, we played a game of Outburst! It was funny :)
And then we shared our to-go dessert from Olive Garden.
December 25th: Christmas morning I made Damon some Oatmeal with his delicious toast and some peppermint cocoa with marshmallows! I made my self a blueberry honey toast. It was Delicious!
And then we opened gifts! A surprise Bidet from Damon :). A heating pad for the outdoor chaise lounge, clothes, shoes, a beach umbrella, and a teak floor for our Malanah.
We feasted in the afternoon on fruit, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp, crab, and bruschetta.
In the late afternoon we headed down to the beach. It was a tad cool but so peaceful. As the sun set, the sky heated up with vibrant warmth!
December 26th: We dressed up in our new outfits thanks to the Woolstenhulme's and then headed out to our reservation for A Christmas Dinner at Paradis! The lights over in Rosemary Beach were so beautiful and the meal was amazing!
And as we drove back home into Wild Heron we both commented on how we felt thankful and grateful to share this life and this sweet companionship.
Merry Christmas 2021!
