Buenos Aires, Argentina 2 of 2
Our second day in Buenos Aires, we do a 4 hour bike tour and have a lunch for champs!
We got to spend a second day in Buenos Aires. Today we did a 4 hour bike through the main parts of the city.
What we came to appreciate is that Buenos Aires, and Argentina in general, was a beautiful and sophisticated city before the Communists just about destroyed it decades ago. In the early 1900's it was rich and looked like a beautiful european city.
Many of these buildings are still there, and the people are trying to recover from decades of abuse by their governments. They have a deep and interesting history, and in the mid 1900's a lot of tragedy.

After the bike tour we had an amazing lunch at Huacho's. The burrata was incredible, Empandas really good.
I was texting with Sydney about some work related stuff while we were waiting for our food. Mitzi was making some funny faces so I took pictures to send to Sydney. Funny! We were joking, better get her some food fast haha.

Mitzi got a Patagonia Trout. It looked like salmon. They served it with grapefruit and the server said be sure to eat it together with the grapefruit. He wasn't fibbing, it was a wonderful combination!
We splurged and got some desset. A Dulce del Leche "pancake" which was a crepe, and dark chocolate and mascarpone which was so good too.

We left so full, got a car ride back to the ship, and had to lay down and recover for a while. We sailed out of the port at 7p and are on our way back to Montevideo for a day tomorrow.
