Buenos Aires, Argentina 1 of 2
We go to a ranch outside Buenos Aires, watch a guy in our tour group get bird pooped on him four times, and while that is entertaining us, we have a delicious Argentinian meat lunch.
We got up early this morning because we needed to meet our driver to take us to our tour guide and go visit a ranch 2.5 hours outside of Buenos Aires.
As we drove in the van to the ranch our tour guide made some mate, which is pretty much the national drink here. It's a kind of tea and has these crushed leaves with hot water.
Mitzi gave it a try which is really great of her!
We stopped along the way and visited an interesting church. Mitzi took a picture of me mocking the confessionary (repent of ya sins, ya sinner!) haha. But I just realized I don't have the picture. Oh well.
We got to the ranch and one of our first activites was riding horses.

It was a nice ride. My horse wanted to be right behind the lead horse, and as much as I tried to get him to turn around so I could ride next to Mitzi, he just about bucked me off and refused! That was fun and I mean it 😄

Afterwards we had some fresh empanada. They really know how to make empanadas down here in South America.

Our tour guide took us back to the wood fire where they were cooking the meat. Not sure if grill master is the right word here, but this fellow sure knows what he's doing.

We enjoyed lunch which included all that meat we saw in the grill area. Served by guys dressed in traditional gaucho attire.

This lady is wiping bird poop off the back of her boyfriend. He got hit by bird poop 4 times and that is not an exaggeration. This last one hit his back and everyone at our table was laughing so hard about it.
After lunch Mitzi and I were so full. While the entertainment was going on we found some chaise lounge in the shade and rested.

What a fun day at an Argentenian ranch!
