Bridgetown, Barbados
A failed visit to Bridgetown, Barbados, but the patisserie in The Bakery was a big success.
Mitzi found The Bakery on the Vista yesterday. They have these from scratch pastries that are most of the best ingredients. We went back together today and Mitzi enjoyed this Eclair filled with raspberries and whipped cream on top.
We were going to walk around Barbados and thought Oceania had hired busses to take us into the city. However the buses dropped us off after a quarter mile at the cruise terminal haha.
So we walked by the duty free shops and walked back to the ship. We have high hopes for an interesting time on Devils Island, French Guiana, in two days. Tommorow is a sea day.
I got this beautiful picture of the sail boat passing a small tanker. Then pulled out the marine binoculars and could see so much more detail!
Mitzi pulled out her sewing machine for the first time (of many I'm sure!) and worked on her most recent quilt.
